The World Field Centres Register is designed to connect researchers, students and educators with field sites across the globe, and has been maintained by the Society since 1996. The Register makes it easier to find suitable locations, access local knowledge, and facilitate international collaboration on environmental research, training and conservation.

The Register lists over 700 field centres, ranging from small, independent camps to large, long-term international facilities. The primary criterion for inclusion is that a centre welcomes international visitors for the purpose of field research.
Each entry provides key information to help you plan a visit, including:

Register a field centre
We invite managers of field centres to add their facility to the Register. Inclusion increases your centre's visibility to a targeted global audience of scientists, students, and educators looking for research and training locations.
